Originally from Monroe, LA, currently living in Texas, Renee’ is a wife, the mother of a 3 year old and former Miss Black San Bernardino 1988. Renee’ began singing at a very young age and enjoys singing God’s praises with her church choir. She spent several years in California where she was part of the Lori’s Ladies and Gent Modeling Troop during her reign as Miss Black San Bernardino. Along with numerous charitable functions, she made several appearances as Miss Black San Bernardino to include the 1988 Annual Celebrity Basketball Game benefiting the Daisy Foundation for unwed mothers.
After her reign as Miss Black San Bernardino, Renee’ went on to star in the Los Angeles hit Musical Drama “The High Life”, co-starring 1988 Image Award Winning Best Supporting Male Actor, David Whitfield. After the run of this production Renee’ toured the world as a backup singer for Barry White on “The Man Is Back Tour”.
Following her return from tour, Renee’ went back to the stage to perform in lead roles in other musical dramas such as “Park Bench”, “A Women Called Mae” and “Hallelujah Anyhow”. Since then Renee’ has performed in numerous other stage productions. Using her gift, Renee’ has performed in concert featuring such groups and artists as “D.F.W. Mass Choir” and “Apostle Darrell Yancey & Shekinah”.
Some of her accomplishments include Commercials – Pro-Line Corp (Soft n Beautiful); Industrial Films – La Quinta Hotels, JCPenney, Trane and MCI; Voice Over- for KMCT TV 39; Print – McDonalds, Mid-Atlantic Federal Credit Union; Our Town Magazine, American Airlines Credit Union. Renee’ has worked with such entities as Bronner Bros Corp (Atlanta), Spud Webb Hair & Fashion Show (Dallas), and For Sisters Only (Dallas).
Renee’ feels exceedingly blessed and inspired to be used by God and wants to use her gift to inspire and be a blessing to others. |
